Breaking through the
status quo.
The client managed shared car investments across multiple partners using Google Sheets and WhatsApp messages. Registration numbers got lost, purchase prices were entered incorrectly, and receipts vanished in email threads. Partners couldn't check inventory status without calling someone. Days-in-stock calculations were done manually every week, documents were scattered across personal drives, and the entire operation relied on one person's memory. When a car sold, calculating actual profit required hours of digging through messages and files.
Strategic engineering
built for impact.
We built forgeMotive — a web-based platform that centralizes every aspect of shared vehicle investments. Partners get secure logins, a real-time portfolio dashboard, image and document uploads, automatic expense tracking, and a live ledger that syncs across all devices instantly. Built on Next.js 16 with TypeScript, Firebase Authentication, and Firestore onSnapshot listeners, the platform uses Cloudinary for organized file storage, React Hook Form with Zod validation for clean data entry, and date-fns for automatic days-in-stock calculations. Protected routes via React Context ensure only authenticated users access sensitive data.
Measurable success
at scale.
The platform launched from concept to production-ready in weeks. Manual ledger entry dropped to zero. Document retrieval time was cut by 95%, from 40-minute manual searches to 10-second instant lookups. Partners can now view their portfolio status without calling anyone. Real-time sync ensures all partners see the same data simultaneously, and the document vault eliminates lost paperwork. The alpha version is handling live operations. Delivered 40% faster than traditional agency development through an Agent-First architecture.
